VLV is the name of the trio formed in 2006, together with two friends and colleagues who live in Belgium. Collaborative work began with a few concerts in the Aachen 'Jazzclub Opera' and, as of 2007, will be a permanent fixture. A CD is planned for this year.
Werner, who moved to Belgium a few years ago has, in the meantime, become a well known name in the jazz scene there and works with musicians such as Michel Bisceglia, Toots Thielemann, Glenn Corneille, Boris, Jo Lemaire....
I met Mimi through Werner. He became known, above all, through the Philip Catherine's trio. A wonderful drummer!!!
