	CCJO Cologne Contemporary Jazzorchestra

The CologneContemporaryJazzOrchestra is a big band who has performed a new programme in the Kölner Stadtgarten every month since Autumn 2002. Actually a composers' orchestra, richly blessed with composing colleagues amongst others, Niels Klein, Juergen Friedrich, Marco Lackner, Ansgar Striepen. Beyond that we like to invite composers, who rehearse their evening-filling programme with us and present it within the framework of a concert. In the meantime we can look back on a row of exciting concerts, amongst others with Nils Wogram, Markus Stockhausen; Florian Ross. Norbert Stein, Frederik Köster,................................... There were a few radio and CD productions and also concerts besides the ones in the Cologne Stadtgarten, not last in the Glocke in Bremen together with Lee Konitz, and at the Moers Jazz Festival 2006 with Axel Knappmeyers adaptation of SLAYER's music.
